We are an age qualified, pet friendly manufactured home and RV community that unlike many parks in Florida, isn't a commercial venture. Back in 2001 several homeowners organized the purchase of the park by residents - turning it into a not-for-profit membership/share ownership. Since the original purchase of the park 58 homeowners have become members of the cooperative, many seeing their membership value increase by $10,000. Like many neighborhoods in Florida our neighbors are a diverse group - from baby boomers to WWII veterans, winter residents or full timers.Co-op members (current share price is $36,900) pay $139/month residents with lot leases pay $399/month for lake front and $388/month for a standard lot.
All are welcome and encouraged to serve on park committees. Join the beautification committee to learn about tropical gardening while planting native botanicals to enhance the beauty of the park. The social committee gives you the opportunity to showoff your culinary or holiday decorating skills, help organize ice cream socials, card games, bingo, shuffleboard tournaments and trips. Have literary talent? Write an article for the park newsletter, share some local knowledge/information/tips with old residents and new friends.
If you've found a manufactured home floor plan you like or want to have a home base for your RV we have several lots to choose from. Whether renting or joining the co-op, you can decide which option is right for you. Resale's of private and park owned homes are available. We are currently are offering incentives for new home owners. Tanglewood Village is on county water and sewer services, electric is provided by FPL with the lowest kilowatt rate in the state.
